StealthWriter vs Phrasly

HumanFlow is not one of the two tools on this page. We make a competing product, so weigh this accordingly — our methodology sets out how we source competitor figures and what we refuse to claim.

Same 5,000-word cap on a single paste, and two ways of describing an allowance neither states in words. One costs half again as much as the other.

Why people compare these two

Both are pitched at people who found the entry tiers elsewhere too tight, and both answer the volume question without giving a monthly word figure — StealthWriter in humanizations a day, Phrasly in the word unlimited. On the one number they both do publish, the per-request cap, they are identical at 5,000 words.

So the comparison narrows quickly to price and to what each is actually promising, which is where they diverge more than the marketing suggests.

What actually separates them

StealthWriter meters in a daily rate: 50 humanizations a day on the entry plan, at $16.67 a month billed annually. A daily allowance suits irregular heavy use, because an unused Tuesday does not carry forward but a heavy Wednesday is not rationed against the month.

Phrasly says unlimited humanization at $10.99 a month billed annually. That is roughly two-thirds of StealthWriter's price for a ceiling that is, on its face, higher. The qualifier applies to any unlimited plan anywhere: it is a commercial term bounded in practice by fair-use enforcement neither published nor promised.

The genuinely large difference is the free tier, and it runs opposite to the price. StealthWriter gives 10 humanizations a day at up to 1,000 words each, ongoing — the largest free allowance in this set. Phrasly gives 300 humanization words. One lets you evaluate on real documents before paying; the other does not.

Which to pick

Pick StealthWriter if you want to test properly before committing, or your writing arrives in bursts — a daily allowance fits that pattern better than a monthly pool, and the free tier is generous enough to answer the quality question first.

Pick Phrasly if you have already decided the output suits you and want the lower price for a stated ceiling that is higher, and you read unlimited as a marketing term rather than a guarantee.

The claim we won't compare on

Neither tool's ability to get text past an AI detector appears above, and it is not an oversight. No vendor can observe or control the systems such a claim is about, detectors change without notice and disagree with each other on identical text, and every published bypass rate in this category was produced by the company selling the tool it tested. We publish none for our own product either — see why we publish no bypass rates.
